On June 27, 2005, The Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic have organized at the premises of the Permanent Representation the opening ceremony of „The Czech Liaison Office for R&D“.

Apart from high state and European representatives the celebration draw about one hundred representatives of European and Brussels' organizations.
